Hi Simon,
thanks if I understand the workaround correctly:
The script which is linked in the articel will write the information to WMI.
The mof file will be used by the hardware inevntory to dected the settings out of WMI?

Based on my experience, yes, you are right. Most extended hardware inventory work like this: firstly collect information and then store in WMI where hardware inventory can easily gather it.
