Full Xamarin support for Azure Communication Services

Are there plans to fully support a unified programming model in Xamarin? I can see where MacOS and IOS are supported by Xamarin, but Android is not.

I also see where there is no .NET support for the calling API. Will that be coming as well to include Xamarin bindings?

Hi,

Xamarin is currently not supported in the Q&A forums, the supported products are listed over here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/products (more to be added later on).

You can ask the experts in the dedicated Xamarin forum over here:
https://forums.xamarin.com/

This is where we were directed to ask questions about Azure Communication Services. I think the SDK supporting that service is fair-game in this forum

Ok, in this case you're in the correct forums, apologies!

Hi Leon,

.NET calling client SDK will be coming in public preview. You can see the list of supported SDKs and file issues if you have specific feature requests/feedback on our github: aka.ms/ACS-SDKs.

Currently Xamarin is not supported - please file an issue for this feature request.

I notice that Android and iOS nuget packages are available now for ACS on Xamarin. Are there any tutorials / examples available for either?

I found them. These are not MS releases but from a company called Laerdal Medical: https://github.com/Laerdal/Xamarin.AzureCommunicationCalling
