Container sits in waiting, yet it is started

Recently on one particular subscription, for one particular instance, the container sits in waiting for more than 20 minutes. After a few minutes, I see no events, not even the pulling event, but the container is actually running and logs are available through the portal. The cli is still hanging on the create statement (no json is returned). Any suggestions?

One other note - I noticed in the logs the hostname has changed to starting with sandbox. That is new behavior.

I would need some more information to understand your scenario:

When you say "The cli is still hanging on the create statement (no json is returned).", Can you please share the command you are using and share the link if you are following any documentation. Are you trying to create a container instance with the Azure CLI as described here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/container-instances/container-instances-quickstart#create-a-container ?

Let me know and I can troubleshoot further.
