Android Device Administrator

Hi

We are still currently utilising Android Device Administrator

We have recently added Microsoft Teams to the App Protection Policy.

This App protection policy is configured to block copy and paste

We use 'Policy managed apps with paste in'

This does not seem to work for Microsoft Teams however. We can freely copy data from Teams and paste it in to whatsapp etc.

I am pretty sure this is not expected behaviour.

Can anyone advise if they have seen the issue?

I believe the app protection policies for teams or any other application (Intune SDK wrapped) has nothing to do with device enrollment type, whether it is using andriod device administrator or enterprise enrollment.
You can check what App protection policies applied to the teams application on the andriod device using edge browser. http://eskonr.com/2020/06/troubleshooting-intune-mam-protection-policies-ios-and-andriod/

Adding a tag for Teams to this thread as this behavior is Teams specific.

From memory, the Teams client does not yet fully implement all possible APP restrictions (but I could be wrong).
