Configure vGPU on Azure Stack Edge

I have an ASE Pro 2 256G6T2GPU, which has two GPUs.

Can I divide the GPUs into vGPUs, so that I can provision more than 2 VMs with GPU?

As far as I can work out, this does not seem to be possible, but I would like some official (as official as possible) answer, before I report back to my team.

Thanks, Brock

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Platform, thanks for posting your query here.

Azure Stack Edge cannot divide (or virtualize) the GPU. The GPU device(s) are dedicated to specific VM’s.

GPU Partitioning is not supported for VM’s.

Pls review this link that has the steps to allocate (dedicated) GPU’s for VM’s and Kubernetes.

    Hope this helps.
