[Solved] RDMA is enabled on NIC but shows as not capable with Get-SmbClientNetworkInterface

Hi

Solved: NIC had not RDMA enabled in BIOS.

I´m building a S2D HyperV cluster, and want to use RDMA iWARP on the QLogic NICs
However I have run in to an issue with RDMA on a server.
The problem is that all adapters are RDMA capable when checking with Get-NetadapterRDMA, but not when I check with Get-SmbClientNetworkInterface
This problem only occurs on 1 server out of 3. The 3 servers are identical.

See image below.

What am I missing here?

Hi ,

If for some reason the RDMA Capable column in the Get-SmbClientNetworkInterface output shows False, it may require a reboot of the host to get SMB to update the value.

Best Regards,

Candy
