Intune not prompting for passcode during enrollment

Hi,

With Android enrolment it used to prompt for passcode and secure boot as part of the enrolment.
I have a compliance policy which requires a 6 digit code and device encryption.

Now it doesnt prompt for passcode which means it needs to manually set after the device is up and running.

Any idea what I have done, I really want this configured as part of the device enrolment ?

Thanks

For device passcode, you need to create device configuration policy (device restrictions), compliance policy will never force user to setup a passcode. As the name suggest, it checks if the device meet the policy that you configured.

Apart from Eswar said, for Fully managed, dedicated, and corporate-owned work profile devices, locate to MEM portal-> device configuration-> Android Enterprise-> Device restriction->Password and set forcing password setting.

Hi,

I do the configuration policy which matches the compliance policy in terms of passcode. It looks like it has fixed itself and is now prompting for passcode. Strange though as have seen this happen a few times now.

Thanks for your help !
