Number of ADs (Forests) supported by one Azure ADConnect Server

Hi,

We currently have one active directory that is syncing with Azure ADConnect. We have multiple OUs assigned to each customer and each customer has its own UPN. Due to this design, we have to do the user management of customers. And also customers cannot use those users for local applications.

Now we want to install Active Directory at each customer site and sync it with our Azure ADConnect server. Network connectivity is already established. In this way, each customer will able to manage their own users and can also use it for local applications. And the users will also be synced with our Office365.

Is this design feasible? And is there any limit on how many ADs we can sync with one azure ad connect server? Any other client who is using this topology?

Regards,

In this article, its mentioned that multiple forests are supported but the number is not defined. Is there any limit of how many forests are supported by azure ad connect server?
