Teams PWA reconnects to ongoing call constantly

Hello everyone,

I am using the

  • Teams PWA
  • in Edge stable
  • on Ubuntu 22.04
  • with company office365 SSO

This happens usually after teams has been working for some time after starting the computer.

At some point without any visible trigger, whenever I try to join a conference call,
I can hear and see the participants for a few seconds (<5) and then the call freezes.
After another couple of seconds teams shows me a little hint, that there was a problem and that they are trying to get me back into the meeting.
This is repeated endlessly.

Failed workarounds I have already tried:

  • restart Teams PWA
  • restart Edge and Teams PWA
  • logout from Teams and re-login

I can only get Teams working again by rebooting the system.

    Hi @Sascha Kolberg

    Since this issue is intermittent, I suppose the most possible cause would be network issues.

    If possible please switch to another network or use wired connection to see if the issue persists.
    If you are using VPN or proxy, please disable them and retry.
