Azure AD Work Account no longer exists

We used to have an Azure AD, but it was discontinued well over a year ago.
We have always logged into our computers via local (i.e. non-Azure) Active Directory accounts.

Ever since the Azure AD was discontinued, it keeps telling me I have to "Fix" my account, but of course I cannot because it no longer exists.
I thought I should use the "Disconnect" from my "AD Domain" under "Access Work or School", but am afraid that it will completely disconnect me from our local Windows Active Directory Domain.
Since I currently work from home, I am concerned that this will cause issues for me trying to get reconnected.

Is this the right way to fix this?
Will it completely disconnect me such that I will need to reconnect my laptop to our Domain via VPN?

I appreciate any information provided.
Thank you.

@MDell-seradex Can you help us with the screenshot if the notification message. Does it say that for Microsoft account or work account. The whole message will help us to understand the scenario and suggest further.
If you disconnect from your AD Domain, you will not longer be able to access your domain services. So I would not recommend you trying that over some notification.

Hi @vipulsparsh-MSFT.
I messed up trying to respond to you. I accidentally posted it as an answer. When I realized, I tried to delete it and re-post as a comment, but it wouldn't let me post it all as one piece.
I posted it, but then saw I could turn my answer into a comment, so I deleted my comments and tried that, but it doesn't appear to be working.
I am going to try again in a different browser.

Hi @vipulsparsh-MSFT.
Of course the answer is too long to be converted into a comment which I can see it complaining about now.
The odd thing is that without the image, it is shorter.
Also, unfortunately I cannot undelete the comments.

In case you didn't get it I said that my work email was already setup as a personal email (personal Microsoft account) before the Azure AD existed so I could do things like post to these message boards. That personal account is what I am currently using to create and update this topic.
I just dismissed that message. I will post it when it shows again.

@vipulsparsh-MSFT, I also said this:
Note that in "Shared Experiences" it says "Some of your accounts require attention", and has a "Fix Now" button that I cannot use.
It tries to sign me in to my Azure AD account but when I click next it says "This username may be incorrect. Make sure that you typed it correctly. Otherwise, contact your admin." Closing that automatically relaunches it. I have to quickly close "Shared Experiences" after closing the dialog to stop the loop of it re-opening.
Also in the "Your Phone Companion App" it says "Your Microsoft account needs attention", even though the Microsoft account I am using for that works fine (my personal home account).

Hi @vipulsparsh-MSFT.
I'm not sure why the deleted responses are still showing for me, but anyway, I have the screenshot you asked for.

Also note, @vipulsparsh-MSFT, that the "Your Phone Companion" app has been trying to connect for over two days to my Android 11 Pixel 3 phone.
It was working for the most part last week, but after the latest update, things started going wonky, so I tried a reset and now it won't connect.
As you can see it complains that one of my accounts has an issue, but I have no real accounts with problems.

This is why I am trying to fix this problem.

If I disconnect from the "Work or School" domain, will that completely disconnect my laptop from our local Active Directory Domain, or will it just disconnect from the Azure domain that no longer exists?

@MDell-seradex Apologies for delay in response, I responded the same day but seems the comment was not posted somehow. From the screenshot it looks like this account is for your local AD, so if you disconnect this, it will get disconnected from your local AD. You should be able to see which account it is listing there.

They ended up rebuilding the entire Domain, so it seems I no longer need to do this, and as such I cannot confirm if it will address the issue.
It looks like it may have, but I would have then needed to re-join my local AD afterwards which is what I was trying to avoid.
