After your subscription is canceled, Microsoft waits 30 - 90 days before permanently deleting your data in case you need to access it or you change your mind. We don't charge you for retaining the data. To learn more, see Microsoft Trust Center - How we manage your data.

I do not have any subscription and it's more than a year, Microsoft did not terminate my account. Also, i can not delete any tenant, delete button is grayed out. Moreover, I use my email to open the account and account has someone else's name. Probably hacked my account. I already complained, but no response yet. Thanks
