Power BI on prem functionality and SAP BW DQ connection measure break down

Hi,

I am curently working for a client in the Power BI on prem version (may) and a Direct Query Connection to SAP BW and have two questions:
1. Why does all connetions to the measures break if someone by mistake clicks update report?
2. Why does some measures break when opening the report...
3. I looked at the may update pictures and it looked like I should be able to use the slicer slider in this version but it does not seem like it is available, should it be available or not?
