Microsoft intune error when installing on android Samsung s20+

Hi all!

I'm facing problems with installing Intune Company portal on my samsung s20+, as i keep getting the error message after the sms verification stage, which says "your company support has not authorised this divice for management..."

I'm able to install it on my old iPhone except that since its running on old iOS, there're features which wont be available. And i'm also not using that iPhone anymore since it's old. My current phone Samsung s20+ is however, facing issues.

I've reached out to my company's IT support but the solutions proposed all dont work...

Please assist!! thank you!!

Based on the error message, I would recommend to check the followings:

1 Please check the Intune user account has been assigned the Intune license correctly. Please click the following link for more info about how to assign Intune license.

2 Please contact the Intune admin, and check if there is enrollment restriction policy, which may block the Intune enrollment. Please click the following link for more info about enrollment restriction policy.

3 Please also check the Conditional Access policy, which may block the enrollment if the policy was configured as that.

Hi Andy,

thanks for your reply. I cant seem to perform any of the above... the error notification i see is "You haven't enabled device management yet. Click here to start."

Have already escalated this matter with my company's it support, hope they'll be able to help.

You are welcome.

It sounds like that the enrollment for Android not enabled in the Intune service side. It's a good idea to consult with your company's IT support.
