The Data Science Virtual Machine (DSVM) image is currently available on Ubuntu 20.04 but not on 22.04. Do we know when it will become available on Ubuntu 22.04?
@Julia Bergstedt The DSVM team usually publishes release notes on this page and Azure DSVM for ubuntu 22.04 is currently not available as preview too, I will check if there is any roadmap though on releasing it.
However, you can use other Azure market place offerings like Ntegral Incs offering if you plan to setup a machine on ubuntu 22.04
Julia Bergstedt As per the update from the team, the offering on ubuntu 22.04 is on the roadmap and is scheduled to be released in the second half of this year since ubuntu 18 deprecation as an offering occurred around September 2022 and the current version was offered, a similar timeline is expected for ubuntu 22.04.
