Files Deleting Randomly from OneDrive and Restore Function Does Not Work

On my Mac, files delete randomly from folders on OneDrive, when the file name is changed, or when a folder containing may files is transferred my computer to OneDrive. Longstanding issue. Please fix it.

Which type of OneDrive do you use, OneDrive for Business or OneDrive?
If you are using OneDrive for Business, please contact IT to make sure there is no limitation or policy for files to sync.
Can you find these file in Recycle Bin on Mac or on OneDrive online?
I suggest you update OneDriveto the latest version.
