After installation, while launching company portal. It's asking to select the device category, about this device belonging to which OS? Is there any chance to automate this based on the OS?

    Currently, there is no method to select the device category based on the OS automatically. We still need to select it manually.

    If you are interested in this feature, it is suggested to post in intune feedback portal. It is a place to collect customers' requirements and problems. Here is the link:
