email address sync

Hi All
i am using exchange 2010 hybrid environment, ihave added an addition email address to one of the user in onprem and performed delta sync, but still the additional email address is not synced to cloud. in the proxy address in AD attribute i can see the additional email address. experts guide me on this.

Does this email address using a new domain name? If so, you need to be the owner of this domain and have verified this domain in your Office 365.
After that, if you still cannot sync this email address to AAD, you can confirm with Azure AD connect team.

did you configured this dns (email smtp) on O365 ?
in admin center - settings - domains
