A remote desktop services deployment does not exist in the server pool windows 2016

30343-with-domain-admin-user-role.pngHi,

When I am logging from the role of Domain Admin then, I am able to access the Collections ---> Quick Collections. But When I am logging through the domain user role only then the message appears "A remote desktop services deployment does not exist in the server pool"

Kindly Advise.

Hi
have you added all servers in the pool to the server manager?

Hi,

Please be informed this is by design behavior. Only domain Admin user could see and manage the RDS deployment.

Only if you add the domain user to the domain admin group, can this domain user see the RDS deployment.

Nothing on this page is useful! I'm having the same issue. I'm logged in with my Domain Admin user account. I installed the RDS role. What is the actual thing I need to click or type to make this work?

Did you finish a Remote Desktop Services setup? As in, did you go to "Add roles and features" -> Installation Type: "Remote Desktop Services installation" (not Role-based), then continue from then on?
