    Hi,

Thank you for coming Microsoft MECM Q&A forum.

1.Please help check the ConfigMgrSetup.log located in C drive to see if there is any further information.

2.Which user account do you use to install the SCCM? Have you added the user account to SQL server administrators?

For more information, please refer to: Installing SQL Server 2012 For Configuration Manager 2012 R2

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply.

When we use a domain user account as the site installation account to sign in to the server where you run Configuration Manager setup and install a new site. This account requires the following rights:

    Administrator on the following servers:
    The site server
Each server that hosts the site database
Each instance of the SMS Provider for the site

And sysadmin on the instance of SQL Server that hosts the site database

Please help check if the permissions are met. For more information, please refer to: Accounts that Configuration Manager uses

    Thanks for your time.

    Best regards,
    Simon
