Application Insights BYOS (Bring your own storage)

Question

I followed this tutorial from Microsoft, to make the App profiler and snapshot debugger data to be sent and stored in a storage Account as blobs.

the data is generated and can be listed with the Application Insights search feature.
profiler and snapshot debugger data are present

but after running the procedure I cannot see the profiling and traces being saved in the storage account. Is this feature broken or am I missing something?
These are the blobs, that are all empty...

Any suggestions????
my project need this feature to progress...
