Deleting data from endpoints that sync SPOL library

If user sync's a SPOL site using OneDrive app - is there a way we can control - when you Stop Sync for that SPOL site/data to be deleted from local machine.

We do not want to touch their personal OneDrive site - just the SPOL sync'd site libraries.

It is not possible to delete the OneDrive file data from user’s local machine on their behalf.

Once the SharePoint Online library is synced to the user’s local drive, they can keep a copy of the files and folders, which is accessible offline without requiring authentication.
The files and folders will remain as local data after the user stops syncing with SharePoint Online, even if some of them do not save data on local drive, they carry an error symbol on the file icon.

Is it possible to wipe this via a script if machine is managed in Intune?

@Scott-5080
Microsoft Intune allows you to wipe only corporate data from Intune-managed apps as long as you have Windows Information Protection (WIP) policies deployed on the target device. Currently, it is only supported iOS/iPadOS, Android, and Windows 10 platforms.
Reference: How to wipe only corporate data from Intune-managed apps.

Since Microsoft Intune is beyond our scope, please open a new post under Microsoft Intune for further technical assistance on this requirement.
Thank you for your understanding.

Incredible that this is not an Enterprise ready solution. Its not even SMB ready solution

Is there any roadmap that will make this app compliance/security ready for production use?

@8ee8
I'm afraid I have not found such roadmap in Microsoft documents.
I suggest you submit this idea via a new post in Office 365 UserVoice forum so that Microsoft Teams can take it into consideration: https://office365.uservoice.com/
