The team did receive several reports of this issue but has deployed a fix. However, please be aware that at the moment, SMS numbers can only be added to subscriptions that are US domestic and are backed by a credit, i.e. not in a trial state. If your account is not subject to these restrictions, please try again and comment below if you're still not able to complete the process.

Thanks, now just 'spins' on Loading Available Plans - suspect its because my account is Australian.
Is there any timeline on number/account expansion outside the US?

Thanks for your interest in Azure Communication Services - we don't have any timelines to share right now, but this is something that is high priority for us and actively being worked on. Phone numbers are a complicated space given the different laws and regulations in place for each country/region, so it's difficult to give an exact timeline of when things will be ready.
You can see more of our public plans on github, and any announcements or changes in availability will be posted to the Azure Blog. Next up is support for Canadian numbers and subscriptions to be enabled this year. Thank you for the feedback, it will be directly used to help prioritize and make product decisions!
