Why is AutoUpdate for Mac showing uninstalled apps which cannot be updated?

After AutoUpdate finishes updating my Office apps, I always check to make sure everything is up-to-date. When I check the list, there are two apps listed that are old and no longer installed. How do I get them off the list? Screen Shot 2023-03-15 at 11.39.45 AM

    Hi @Stephen Stengel,

    I suggest you uninstall Microsoft AutoUpdate from Mac first:

    1. Open Excel- click Help menu- Check for updates to open Microsoft AutoUpdate.
    2. Right click Microsoft AutoUpdate in dock and click Options- Show in Finder.
    3. Right click Microsoft AutoUpdate file and click Move to Trash to uninstall it. (Note: you need to quit Microsoft AutoUpdate before uninstalling it.)

    Then you can re-install Microsoft AutoUpdate:

    1. go to this link and download the latest version of Microsoft AutoUpdate: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdates/release-history-microsoft-autoupdate
    2. Restart.
