Integrating the Azure Communication Services into into client side Applications like soft clients or soft phones

Hi,

I just want to find out if we can integrate the Azure Communication Services into a client side application like a softphone client?

Also I get the following error displayed on my dashboard under communication services. 'Microsoft.Communication/CommunicationServices' Resource provider doesn't support api-version 2020-08-20-preview in 'global'. (Code: NoResourceTypeEndpointAvailable). Please can this be resolved?

Thank you.

Hi @FrancisOssai-4193,

Azure Communication Services is a platform that supports lots of different scenarios. You can build out the functionality you want on top of our APIs. It sounds like you'd be interested in the calling functionality.

You can check out more of our SDKs and Samples on our GitHub, as well as file issues if you have any problems or feedback!

As for the error you are seeing, we experienced an incident a few days ago that was resolved, could you give it another try and see if you are still getting the same error?

HI @manoskow-msft,

Thank you for your feedback. For the error this has been resolved.

I have gone through the calling documentation and have gone ahead to implement the group calling sample. However when I debug the code I get the error.

connection id "OHM3H4R9UFON9", Request id "OHM3H4R9UFON9:00000001". An unhandled exception was thrown out. The create-react-app server did not start listening for request.

What could be the solution to this please?

Thanks for your time.
