Create a new app not available

All I want to do is publish my exe app (Electron/Vue). I have created an account and I can enter the Partner Center. (https://partner.microsoft.com/en-us/dashboard/commercial-marketplace/overview)

I am trying to follow this guide (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/uwp/publish/app-submissions) and see that I need an active developer account within the Partner Center? How do I do that? I thought I was ready to submit my app.

Hello,

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!

So is your account a developer account? If not, you might need to register a developer account first. You could refer to this document: Opening a developer account. This is the guide about how to register a developer account.

Besides, Microsoft Q&A is under the public preview, not all topics are supported. The supported topics are listed on the right top. For questions about publishing UWP apps, please ask in Submitting and Publishing Apps Forum.

Thank you.

Hi there, I did that. When I go to 'register', I get:

Sign in with another account You are signed in as development@xxxxxxx.com which is not associated with a Partner Center account. If you believe this is an error, try deleting your browser cookies and then do one of the following:

Sign in with an Azure AD user account that is already associated with a Partner Center account
- Sign in with a Microsoft account that is already associated with a Partner Center account
- Sign in with a Microsoft account that you’d like to register for a new Partner Center account

The thing is... I already signed up with a developer account. Where do I check to see if there are any discrepancies that won't allow me to move on?

Please open a free support ticket here: Contact Us. Choose to Contact us, select Dashboard for Topic and select Account setup and management for issue type. Then the store team could help to check.
