Hi @KatyaSeriekh-0098,

Something here might help:

Meeting recording storage and permissions

Teams meeting recordings will be stored in OneDrive or SharePoint, depending on the type of meeting.

Important:

If your org is still using Microsoft Stream (not OneDrive and SharePoint) to store recordings and you are a meeting owner, you can change permissions and allow people without access to view a meeting recording.
- Open the meeting in Stream and select ... > Update Video Details. Go here for further details.

Play and share a meeting recording in Teams

Saying something is stored in OneDrive or SharePoint is like saying "Go look in the ocean". Like where specifically? Example click path? The recording feature should automatically email you the link to the file.

Hi @KatyaSeriekh-0098,

To my knowledge, when you record a meeting in Microsoft Teams, upon conclusion of the meeting the recording is sent to Microsoft Stream. In Stream, you can view meetings you've recorded under My content and Meetings. For more details, you can refer to:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/stream/portal-filter-meetings#to-see-all-meetings-you-recorded

Hello.
I recorded the meeting and unfortunately I can't find it in Streams, OneDrive or SharePoint. I found an article like this https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/stream/portal-upload-teams-meeting-recording. But where is the answer, where is this recording?

Thanks for the help.

I am having the same problem from a meeting I recorded yesterday. Checked all the places and have not found it anywhere. When I hit stop recording it said that the link would be in the chat history for the meeting and it is not there.

Someone please help.

I had the same issue and am relieved to have found the file.

I had to go back to my Outlook calendar and click the meeting that had passed, and from which I needed the recording. I had to click "Join Teams Meeting" for a meeting that had already happened days ago.
Once in the Teams meeting app, I scrolled down to "Files." then "Recent." Then scrolled through a long list of every file I had recently opened, and hiding down there was the recording of the meeting I needed.

It was NOT in Stream, OneDrive, files at the end of the chat (basically not anywhere it purportedly should be). Microsoft is NUTS! Nearly gave me a heart attack. Good luck ad I hope this works for you. I made a profile just so that I could try to help others with this ridiculous issue.

i cannot find the video on OneDrive, Stream or Sharepoint.

Can you tell me where to look for it in each of these, please?

Seems like there is a pattern here - as I have the same problem.
Did a recording yesterday and the recording might be lost in cyberspace.

I have searched at Sharepoint (where I can see my other recordings). Tried to search anywhere I could dream of, but no recording.

When I stopped the recording, there was a message like "link to the recording will be added to the chat".
Nope there is no link in the chat.

Suggestions is appreciated
Or is the conclusion that I cannot trust the recording feature??

All the best

Hey all. I did end up finding the recording yesterday. In my OneDrive, there was a folder created called 'Recordings'. It shamefully was in there. I hope you all can find yours!

Hi Sarty

Thanks for the reply.
I checked my OneDrive - but there is no "new" folders.
Tried to do a manual search - no meetings there as well.

I'm back to start - my meeting is probably still somewhere in cyberspace.

So I still appreciate any advise/recommendation for finding recorded team meetings

Wouv after some days I finally got a "recording" folder at my OneDrive.
My best guess is that it is due to (very) late syncronization.

Nevertheless now I have my recordings and I'm happy.

Thanks for your good advises

The new feature of saving recordings in onedrive is terrible for discovering meeting. There is no way to just look up latest meeting recordings across organization, you have to go to the specific channel or personal onedrive to find one.
