I have the same problem, and have not seen a fix yet.

I have exactly the same problem.
This has happened to me with invites from two different organisations - I just thought I had made a mistake the first time, but noticed and checked it immediately with the second organisation.

I missed an important meeting because of this.

I'm told that this has been a common problem in a university where students were accpeting tutor meetings, then didn't have the meeting link

I have had exactly this problem too this morning. I accepted invite from a new client and it disappeared. Thought I was going mad so searched in Mac Mail for it, found it Accepted it again and now it has completely gone, not in junk or bin. I think perhaps as I did it twice it was in Bin when I did it the second time so when deleted from bin it has completely erased it. Thank fully I had replied to the email with link in too with a message so the link remains on there. Must be so embarrassing having to go back and ask for link again.

@FatimahKhan-5537,

Do you mean that after you accept the Teams meeting invite, the email disappear?

It was moved to the Deleted Items folder in Outlook. You can also find the meeting in your calendar.

Hi Sharon,
Many thanks for the tip. Just as you mentioned, I was able to figure out that the email ends up in Trash so I unchecked the specific command in Mails in MS Outlook. What I find strange is that the body of the message disappears on MS Outlook. And accepting the invite doesn't automatically connect it to the calendar. Not sure how to go about that.
Thanks again!
Fatimah

@FatimahKhan-5537,
What do you mean “uncheck the specific command in Mails in MS outlook”?

Same issue, meeting invite deleted from emails once accepted, invite not in trash or deleted, also not in the calendar, therefore I have to ask for another invite.
Very embarrassing looking for a job as SAAS account manager and I cant even accept a meeting correctly

I also have this challenge. Invite isn't in trash or spam - it just completely disappears.

Thank you very much! I have a meeting in 10 minutes and you just saved my life.

I am still seeing this problem on a MAC using Apple Mail.
I receive an invite and accept and the invite goes into the trash.
Worse - there is no calendar entry after accepting.
I have to manually create the calendar entry.
I am pulling the email back out of the trash and putting it back into my inbox.
I know not to accept the meeting twice because it evaporates into the digital thin air.

Teams is just so much more difficult to use than SKYPE or other third party video conference systems.

We have a situation where a user creates a meeting in her manager's calendar (which she has Editor access over) via Outlook and invites several internal and external users. Those users accept the meeting, At a point a few days later, that same user opens the appointment and creates a Teams Meeting link and clicks on Send Update. All users accept the meeting. However, we are finding that the Microsoft Teams link disappears from the User calendars. They see the appointment in their Outlook Calendar, but there is no Teams link for them to click on and join the meeting. We are running Exchange 2016 in a hybrid environment.

I have upvoted @KevinMiller-3117's comment as I have several tickets open within our internal Service Portal for people with the same issue and am hoping to find a solution or explanation - we are in an identical Hybrid Situation at present.

I am having the same issue on a Mac. Running the latest system software (Big Sur). When I accept a meeting, the email automatically moves to the trash with no body of message, no record of the meeting on the calendar. I am having to remember to go to the trash to remove the email so I don't miss the link to the meeting. It took me a while to figure this out. It was embarrassing to ask my client to resend the link before I figured out it was moving to the trash. Any new ideas?

I have the same problem.

Assistant with manager, both on Mac with M365E5 license each.
When she created throught Teams or Outlook an invitation with internal and external, several days after people accepted, the link disappeared !
So today she creates link and if that happens, cancels everything before the meeting and reinvite. Thats not good at all !

I have been researching a similar issue.
We have people with delegated access booking appointments on the calendars of other people from the web browser. PC and Mac, same behavior.
Intermittently the teams meeting info would not be in the meeting.

In our case when an attachment was added before any text was entered the team info was present, if the content was type first then an attachment added no teams meeting info was created. I don't know why this makes a bit of difference but it allowed us to work around the issue.
