What is connectivity information?

I am trying to do a swing upgrade of Azure AD Connect. Simply because I can't do an in place upgrade.

The one who previously configured the Azure AD Connect has left and there wasn't any documentation.

I used the Azure AD Connect Configuration Documenter tool to analyze the existing configuration.

What is "Connectivity Information"?
It shows a Username and Password.

Is this the Global Admin username? I don't quite recognize it. If this account is not present when I configure the new Azure AD Connect, will it be an issue?

@LukeLim95131 In the connectivity part, you need to enter the creds for a Global administrator and it can be different than the last one used for the setup.
You will also need a AD DS Enterprise admin account. Again this can be different from the last setup.

For thorough permission check, please visit this : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/hybrid/reference-connect-accounts-permissions#ad-ds-enterprise-admin-credentials

Thanks for your reply. So to confirm, this Connectivity Information is the Azure Global Admin right? And not the DS Enterprise Admin nor the sync service account?

@LukeLim95131 Connectivity part needs both account. AAD Global Admin and DS Enterprise Admin. But you can use different accounts in both case and it does not necessarily have to be the same account which was used the first time for setup.
