Azure Stack Hub MP allows us to manage the stack deployment through the Admin portal endpoints, which works perfectly to monitor the Azure stack platform.

when it comes to the tenant portal(e.g., portal.local.domain.com), I am trying through Azure MP, which allows me to add the subscription, but when I try to add the discovery wizard in the authoring part, I am able to see the subscription but I am not able to proceed further, it throws some value null error and quits there only.

your comments/recommendation on tenant VM monitoring are much appreciatable.

    Hello Eromose Anetor

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Platform, thanks for posting your query here.

Thank you for providing more details about the issue you are facing with Azure Management Pack while trying to monitor Azure Stack Hub tenant VMs.

Based on the information you provided, it seems like there might be an issue with the discovery wizard in the authoring part of Azure MP. To troubleshoot this issue, you can try the following steps:

Check if the Azure Stack Hub tenant portal is accessible from the machine where you are running the discovery wizard.

Check if the Azure Stack Hub tenant subscription has the necessary permissions for Azure MP to discover and monitor the virtual machines.

Check if the Azure MP is up-to-date and compatible with the version of Azure Stack Hub you are using.

If the issue persists, you can try reinstalling the Azure MP and running the discovery wizard again.

Regarding tenant VM monitoring, you can use Azure MP to monitor the virtual machines running in the tenant subscription. You can configure the Azure MP to discover and monitor the virtual machines. Once the virtual machines are discovered, you can use Azure MP to monitor their performance, availability, and other metrics.

    I hope this helps!
