This problem just recently started occurring (and may have something to do with some recent Windows 10 updates).
I Maximize and Restore Remote Desktop MANY times a day.
Using "winposstr" parameter, I have successfully had my window restore to one monitor (I have two), for some time now.
NOW when I restore down, the window GROWS beyond the edge of my monitor.
Each time I Maximize and Restore, it GROWS even larger (in width and height), eventually causing it to switch to the primary display.
I am at my wits end trying to figure out WHY!
Is anyone else experiencing this?
This is still ruining my day, and I'm periodically digging for answers!
Today I looked at my browser history to try and pin down WHEN EXACTLY this started happening.
I had started looking for answers on July 8th.
So I started looking through the Windows update notes and found this in the 19041.388 build:
"Addresses an issue that might cause certain games and applications to have visual distortion when resizing in windowed mode or switching from full screen to window mode."
So I downloaded the CSV file list, and LOW AND BEHOLD the files are all dated July 8th.
Something happened in that build that was meant to fix something, but messed us up in the process.
There's a ton of files in there and I haven't found a culprit yet.
