I have been facing some issues managing content types. Like for example, if I want to manage two content types in a list, E.g.: Item Content Type (Create new item) and Task Content Type (Create new task) in same List, which has two different form layouts.
SharePoint 2019 doesn’t allow me to edit both forms in designer. I am prompted to use InfoPath 2013 instead. Any other alternative solution.

I suggest you use InfoPath 2013 to customize forms.
As an alternative, you could integrate Power Apps with SharePoint Server 2019.
