Fingerprint has already been set up on another account

I recently deleted a user account and created a new one. In my old user account, I set up fingerprint for 3 of my mostly used fingers (left Index, right index, right middle). Now, when I tried to set up fingerprint on the new account, I was not able to. I have tried uninstalling drivers, remove DAT file from Winbiodatabase folder, even registry fix, none of them seems to fix my problem. Need help.

It may happen that this fingerprint is still linked to the device. Just go to https://account.microsoft.com/devices and remove your device.

    Now, restart your computer.

Enter into the BIOS, if the fingerprint is stored and then proceed to disable it.

Find the Fingerprint option in your BIOS menu and disable it and delete all fingerprint data.

Search Sign in options in windows 11 search.

    Click on Fingerprint recognition

    Remove  it

    Now, add the fingerprint again.

If you would have removed fingerprint sign-in before deleting the account, this situation can be avoided, I believe.

Well, now you can simply remove PIN from your device. If possible, clear TPM as well. Also remove your device from Microsoft account online.

Again back on the device, add Microsoft account, setup PIN and then fingerprint sign-in.

    See if this helps!

WinBioDatabase folder helps and i try. it works:

1- Type "services.msc" in the Run prompt (Win+ R) and pressing Enter. 2- Locate "Windows Biometric Service", right-click, and stop it. 3- Navigate to "%windir%/system32/winbiodatabase" in explorer address bar. 4- Copy all files inside this folder to a different location، then Delete those files from the original folder. 5- Restart the Windows Biometric Serv in first step
