I used Toad for SQL for a long while and liked that it has a feature to configure file name. I mostly used .csv format and Toad by default appended current timestamp to the end of the file. Doing that way each file became unique and convenient to store. My question: does ADS have similar option to make file name unique? Thanks

Unfortunately there is no such capability in Azure Data Studio You can achieve Timestamping the files with other methods like Powershell but to answer your question , no Data Studio does not seem to support that I have searched the Extensions also but nothing Submit feature requests here : https://github.com/microsoft/azuredatastudio/issues I hope this helps! Well ... I continue to bring and compare some advantages that I found in Toad and noticed that I used a lot the option in Toad when user could highlight a block of code and select 'Comment' or 'Uncomment' respectfully.

I used it quite often and found quit convenient

Do we have something similar in ADS?

I am glad i could be of help!

I like the Extensions ! We can do a lot of things using an extension for example integrate machine learning ,Migration Assessment for Oracle , and a lot of cool things that are expanding and new ones are deployed !
