Hey all,

I'm getting an error signing into teams on my Iphone. The error code that comes back is 53003 (blocked by conditional access)

The weird thing is that I do not have any conditional access policies assigned to my account.

I've tried to basics, authenticating through the authenticator app, restarting teams, etc, but we are at a loss for what to do next.

Other users do not have this issue, the sign in details for another account are identical for a user that can access teams.

Below is a user that can access the teams app also on an iphone successfully.

That error refers to a compliance issue.

Are you using Intune to ensure compliance?

    Hi @
    Brendan Finnegan

    Could you please tell me:
Did you encounter the same problem when logging in to your account on other users' mobile phones?

Please try to uninstall Teams and reinstall to check if the problem is resolved.
You can start the Sign-in diagnostic from a specific sign-in event in the Sign-in logs. When you start the process from a specific sign-in event, the diagnostics start right away. You aren't prompted to enter details first.

    Step1.Go to Azure AD > Sign-in logs and select a sign-in event.

    • You can filter your list to make it easier to find specific sign-in events.

Step2.From the Activity Details window that opens, select the Launch the Sign-in diagnostic link.

Step3.Explore the results and take action as necessary.
