Hello Everyone,

When I open the RD Licensing Diagnoser, It gives a error message that "The Remote Desktop Session Host server is in per Device licensing mode and No Redirector Mode, but license server [xyz-server-name] does not have any installed licesnes with following attributes.

Product Version: Windows Server 2019

License mode: Per Device

License Type: RDS CALs or VDI Premium Suite licenses"

We purchased 1 Device CAL license and activated. Also the necessary local group policies are defined in below article.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-server/remote/cannot-connect-rds-no-license-server

I have given the screenshots of RD Licensing manager and Licensing Diagnoser below for ref. They are in same RDS server.

I am new to this RDS terminologies, I try to gather more info and respond to fix this issue.

    Hello there,

In "Per Device" licensing mode, you need to install the appropriate number of Client Access Licenses (CALs) on the license server for the number of devices that will connect to the RDSH server.

Access the licensing server and install the necessary "Per Device" CALs. Make sure that the CALs are valid and match the version of the RDSH server.

Thanks for your inputs. But, If you can look at the License manager screenshot, I have installed valid per device CAL license. Still the Licensing Diagnoser gives error. I am tired.

I have the same. In my case, the license server is in the domain, the RDS host is in the workgroup.
