I have a couple examples of a font that the OCR service has trouble recognizing. It seems to do better when it's at a much higher resolution but it's not an ideal solution.
In the attached example, the letter combination should be "VI" and it did recognize it once, but it's not consistent since there's another instance of it that was not picked up.
Hi, thanks for reaching out. Which API are you referring to, Read API or OCR API? Also, are you saying it recognizes the letter combination better in other fonts, if so what font did you use so we can try to reproduce the issue?
I'm using the Read API.
It looks like it has trouble with this particular font which I believe the font is called ROMANS which is the default font used in AutoCAD.
