I want to use the FACE API identification service but cant despite having approval

I want to use the FACE API identification service in power automate. Y company boss applied for permission to use 1:N identification and it was approved for the company azure subscription. However I still get unauthorized error whenever I try to access FACE API from power automate. Why is this so?

I understand that you are facing an issue with FACE API while calling it from Power Automate.

This issue requires isolation. You first need to check and isolate if the issue is with FACE API or Power automate.

Please try checking if you can get this to work from Face Studio ?

Also try invoking the FACE Api directly from below link and check if that works fine.

You first need to select the region where you have created your resource and invoke the API.

If the issue is only from Power Automate then share the complete error message (in text format) and not screenshot.

@navba-MSFT Thank you for your prompt replies.

I've tried the first link and it works.

In the second link, which is to test FACEAPI response I get the same error message.

So, it seems to me that the issue is that FACE API not being given the proper permissions.

NOTE: this is the same error message I received in Power Automate too.

Its just confusing to me because my account should have the required permissions but the error message says otherwise. Please do guide me on my next steps forward.

Could you please re-confirm if you have signed up for the Azure Cognitive Services Facial Recognition Limited Access Review from here https://aka.ms/facerecognition ??

If Yes, please check if you have received the Welcome to Microsoft Cognitive Services Facial Recognition email from csgate@microsoft.com .If your request is approved then you should be able to use the same in the subscription that was approved for.

If you have already got the approval confirmation email and still seeing the same issue, then you can reply back to the gating team csgate@microsoft.com to re-check the subscription id that was provided or raise an azure support case to check if your access was correctly provided.

Also note, since this being a public forum, other users will not be able to resolve the same except for the service team (Azure Face API team). You can create a support case from Azure portal for the service team to address the same. Do you have a valid support plan for your subscription? Awaiting your reply.

@navba-MSFT Yes I have contacted csgate email many times but have recieved no response. I will raise an azure support case. Thankyou for your help
