Monitor azure home server with scom agent

I remember i've read somewhere long time ago that connecting a microsoft monitoring agent that runs on an azure homed server directly to your scom managementgroup was not allowed or not supported but i cannot not find documentation about this.

I know from experience that technically and currently it works fine but like to know if we just run an unsupported configuration this way or maybe even an illegal unlicensed configuration.
Does anyone know where i can find details about this?

Hi @ronaldvandenberg-5545,

It is supported to have an Log Analytics agent (previously called "Microsoft Monitoring agent") report to a Operations Manager management group.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-monitor/platform/agent-manage#configure-agent-to-report-to-an-operations-manager-management-group

PS: Please change the tag to msc-operations-manager-general
