Prohibit moving pages/sections to other notebooks in OneNote

Background

  • I have a OneNote notebook on my OneDrive. It is used to store memorandum about my work, and it contains some pages about highly confidential (e.g. HR or performance) information.
  • Our team has a OneNote notebook on SharePoint Online of our team to share some reports. It only contains information that can be shared with colleagues.

Problem

When I open the two notebooks at the same time to write some reports, I almost accidentally move the confidential pages to the shared notebook due to mouse operation errors.

Question

Is there any way to flag pages/sections to prohibit moving them to other notebooks in OneNote?

    Hi,

Did you need to edit the Notebook?

If you only need to review the Notebook you can refer to this support article:

Please try this method and let me know if it works for you.
