does anybody know how get more frames per sec for a Kinect depth scanner

I want to calibrate my Kinect to be able to scan object for 3d Printing but i can't figure out why my frame rate is so slow. I need 30 FPS and it is only getting 7 FPS It's all new equipment. Can anyone help me?
