Hi All,
I'm trying to create application for Oracle database client 19c. install and uninstall script were created and save as batch files.
Issue is whenever, after i select content source location and install and uninstall programs > Apply. Console freeze and went not responding then microsoft.configurationmanagement has stopped working.
Source size : 1.3GB
Steps already tried - changed source location, folder names, batch file names and tried to create new application and added deployment type alone, tried same from Primary server as well.
Note : I can create other applications fine
Can someone tell me what is issue here and how to resolve ?

Found the problem for anyone struggling with this. The path was too long. Making a shorter content path resolved the issue.

Hi All,
ii have problems with installing in Systemcontext.
setup.exe -nowait -noconsole -noconfig -force -silent -ignoreSysPrereqs -ignorePrereqFailure -responseFile xxx.rsp
works fine if running as Administrator.
Running in SCCM or psexec /s end's up in "Failed to add user to %2%"
I think your script is running well. Can you please help me out?

Problem solved.
Setup doesn't work with psexec /s, but works in SCCM Systemkontext, for whatever reason.

Hi Muja,
I deleted the ORACLE_HOME environment variable and created it in the installation script beforehand. It must be identical to the entry in the RSP. I start the installation from Windows\temp because I zip the files and extract them to Temp. So it is more stable.
I use AutoIT for Installation Script.
Looks like this then.
Admin_x86.rsp:
ORACLE_HOME= C:\Oracle\32\product\19.0.0\client_1
AutoIT.au3
Delete ENV:
RegDelete("HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Environment", "ORACLE_HOME")
envupdate()
Create ENV:
EnvSet("ORACLE_HOME", "C:\Oracle\32\product\19.0.0\client_1")
envupdate()
Setup:

But my installation is more complex, because i have to install 32bit and 64bit parallel.

is the example for the path in the Response File.
This is part of my AutoIT script. You can also use Powershell with the appropriate Powershell commands.

The important part is, that you have to set the Environment Variable ORACLE_HOME bevor Setup.

Sorry, I have no batch files. You just have to delete the environment variable ORACLE_HOME and set it in the bat before the setup.
reg delete HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Environment /v ORACLE_HOME /f
set ORACLE_HOME=<path from rsp>

Is it possible to setup a test Oracle RAC ASM env on 2 Microsoft Hyper-v VMs using Vagrant?
I have setup Oracle Database 19c RAC On Oracle Linux 7 Using Vagrant following https://isqlplus.com/oracle/installation/oracle-database-19c-rac-on-oracle-linux-7-using-vagrant/

and was hoping this could also be done with Microsoft Hyper-V.
