Have seen similar issues, user trying to invite external domain guest from teams
On my side I open the link and use teams web, login with my tenant creds and get prompt for additional verification, fine but after I hit more to setup my mfa methods, it fails with this CID error, exception null
Now it should be already detecting that I'm a azure ad user with mfa already on, and to send me a notification in the app
But instead its going in some kind of loop.. May not happen for all domains as I know some are working fine.
Hi @Luiz Soares , one possible reason for this error is that the user account you are trying to invite may not exist in Azure AD. The administrator of the tenant where the user account belongs may have a policy in place preventing users from being created. The user must check with their admin to determine if external users are allowed. The external users admin may need to allow Email Verified users in their domain.
Another possible reason for this error is that the user account you are trying to invite may already exist in Azure AD. In this case, you can try to search for the user in the Azure AD portal and add them to your directory instead of sending an invitation.

I'm azure ad user and this same happens to me when I asked to be added as external guest, for testing only
Azure ad must recognize the fact that user is already in azure but for some reason its not
Any updates on this.. is there anything else you need me to check
