Finding out viewers of shared videos

We record videos on Teams and share them with our staff. I want to find out the identity of the viewers, not just the number of unique viewers and video views. The videos are recorded by a "user" level user and are part of that user's collection of data.

I've tried getting reports via Classic Stream, but was unsuccessful. I've now migrated everything to the new Stream successfully. Can anyone guide me on how to report who is watching our videos?

    Hello Bill Howard,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Per this documentation, SharePoint in Microsoft 365 allows site owners to control whether people see the names of people who view files or pages on a site, as long as your organization-level sharing settings allow it.

You can follow these steps to turn on the SharePoint Viewers feature for a site.

Go to your Microsoft SharePoint site.

In the top right corner, select Settings and then select Site information.

Near the bottom of the site information pane, select View all site settings.

On the Site Settings page, under Site Actions, select Manage site features.

On the Site Features page, scroll down to SharePoint Viewers, and select Activate.
