Bugs related to macros in Visio 2019

I created a template (vstm) file in Visio 2019, which contains some macros that I signed.

In the trust center settings, I specified "disable all macros without signatures".

When I made modifications to this template file (without altering the macro itself) and saved it, the next time I opened it, the macros in the file became unsigned and could no longer run automatically. I think this should be an error in the software.

This issue does not exist in template (vst) files in Visio 2007 and earlier versions.

    Hi,

I suggest you try to add the customized template folders to the trusted locations list in Visio. Go to File- Options- Trust Center- Trust Center Settings...- Trusted Locations.

Just checking in to see if the information was helpful. Please let us know if you would like further assistance.

Hi, Isn't the signature for macros? If I modify a macro that has already been signed and save it, the next time I open the file for editing, it will not prompt that the macro is unsigned; But if I modify the drawing content, it will instead prompt me that the macro is disabled. Is this obviously incorrect? And my template is provided for further editing and modification by others. If someone else adds a trusted location before it can be used normally, this requirement is a bit excessive.
