I'm currently facing a challenge while attempting to add my fingerprint on my laptop. The error message I encountered states, "That fingerprint is too similar to one that's already set up." I followed the provided instructions, which included executing the command 'certutil -deletehellocontainer' in CMD, rebooting the system, and re-registering the PIN, I'm still unable to successfully enroll my fingerprintScreenshot 2024-02-04 111401

Any guidance or solutions would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

Please confirm, have you tested multiple fingers? Another way would be to delete the device driver from Device Manager, restart and let Windows re-install the fingerprint driver.

@Balwant Yadav Apologies for the delayed response, would recommend removing the corresponding Windows driver for the finger reader, and letting Windows 11 auto-reinstalled/restart the device, these steps helped one of our community members to resolve this issue.
