I am unable to connect to Azure Data Studio due to "Connection Timeout Expired." error.

Question

Connection Timeout Expired. The timeout period elapsed while attempting to consume the pre-login handshake acknowledgement. This could be because the pre-login handshake failed or the server was unable to respond back in time. The duration spent while attempting to connect to this server was - [Pre-Login] initialization=615; handshake=29403;

I am receiving the above error while trying to connect to Azure Data Studio by using Microsoft Entra ID. Can someone kindly help? I am using free trial account via my personal gmail email ID.

As I understand, you are unable to connect to Azure Data Studio due to connection time out.

Could you please let us know if it was working fine earlier? If it was working fine, please try to update Azure Data Studio to the latest version and see if the issue resolves.
