rdp licenses server 2022

Dear Sir/ Madam After installing a new single RDP license I am still limited to the 2 default connections that come with the operating system. When reviewing the license, it references a volume of 500 when I only acquired a single license Is this the reason for the licenses not working or is it a configuration issue on my part? Look forward to your replies.
