Tethering. WIN 10-Nokia 2.3 (TA-1211) -Audimobile network When I try to Hot-spot/tether my Nokia Android smartphone, which uses Audi-mobile network (Telstra) to my my WIN 10 laptop, fully updated, it connects but does not give me access to the internet. I have contacted Nokia who refer me to Audi-mobile. Audi-mobile refer me to Nokia! So I just get the runaround from both companies! I suspect that I need to modify or add a APN but can get no real answers so far. I can fully connect my Nokia g60 5G though, but that uses WPA3 whereas the Nokia 2.3 uses WPA2 I believe the drivers in WIN 10 can use either WPA2 or 3 As a last desperate effort can anyone assist?

Hello, This problem can be caused by a number of reasons, and here are some possible solutions:

    1. Check Network Settings: Ensure that the laptop is properly connected to the phone's hotspot and that the hotspot settings do not restrict or block access to the internet.
    2. Restart Devices: Sometimes, restarting both the phone and the laptop can resolve network connection issues. Try turning off and then turning on both devices again, and reconnect to the phone's hotspot.
    3. Set Automatic IP and DNS: On the laptop, open "Network and Sharing Center", find the wireless network adapter that is connected, right-click on it and select "Properties". In the Properties window, find "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)", double-click on it to open the settings window. Select "Obtain an IP address automatically" and "Obtain DNS server address automatically", then click OK.
    4. Disable Firewall or Security Software: Sometimes, firewalls or security software may prevent the laptop from accessing the internet. Try temporarily disabling the firewall or security software and then try connecting to the hotspot again.
    5. Update Drivers: Ensure that the wireless network adapter drivers for the laptop are up to date. You can visit the manufacturer's official website to download and install the latest drivers.
