[MSDN thread link] Shared Google Calendar is empty in Outlook 365

[Original post]

A Google calendar that I'm subscribing to in Outlook 365 is empty in Outlook 365. The subscription had been working for years but I noticed that I wasn't getting updates. I unsubscribed and resubscribed and now no events are displayed and no errors are thrown.

I spoke to someone in Tech Support at MSFT who claimed that I have to ADD the Google Calendar which gives full access. That's not what I'm trying to do. I simply need to be able to subscribe to the Google calendar so i can see the events.

Any help would be appreciated!

THanks,

Steve

    Hi Steve,

Did you subscribe the google calendar by adding the "Secret address in iCal format" to Outlook?

If this describes your situation, please replace the "https://" in the url with "webcal://" and check the result:

I've tested in my Outlook for Microsoft 365 and it works at my end. Please have a go and see if this can make the google calendar update properly.
