Can Native document support for Azure AI Language support different file type scanned documents and in some cases, archived reports. Mostly PDF will be used.

If no is there a workaround I can use for PII redacting that supports scanned documents and in some cases, archived reports

Hi again, You need to use an OCR tool (such as Azure Cognitive Services' Computer Vision API) to extract text from scanned documents and save the extracted text. After that the Azure Cognitive Services' Text Analytics API or custom redaction logic to detect and redact PII entities (such as recognize name, DOB, etc) from the extracted text. Ensure compliance with privacy regulations (such as GDPR or HIPAA) when processing PII. And at last once PII redaction is complete, you can further process the text using Azure AI Language for tasks like language detection, sentiment analysis, or entity recognition.
